Destiny Shaw is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a solid foundation in clinical psychology and a passion for community health and event management. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, in August 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. She complemented her major with double minors in Sociology and Life Span Development, equipping her with a broad understanding of human behavior and societal influences across the lifespan. Destiny has worked for Rural Health Association of Tennessee since June 2023 as RHA's Membership Manager. In this role, Destiny she plays a pivotal role in organizing annual conferences, webinars, and other key events for members and others in the rural health community. She is responsible for tracking memberships, collecting invoices, and fostering membership retention. Her role extends to managing social media, participating in community partner events, and contributing to community task forces and committees. Her expertise in event planning and community engagement, combined with her background in clinical psychology, enables her to approach her work with empathy and a deep understanding of community needs.
