Christin McWhroter

Christin McWhorter serves as the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Network Director for the Rural Health Association (RHA) of Tennessee. In this capacity, she collaborates with RHCs across the state to promote professional development, support regulatory compliance, and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes. Christin provides technical assistance to RHCs, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and care coordination.

With over 18 years of experience advocating for older adults and vulnerable communities, Christin has a deep commitment to community service. Before joining RHA in July 2023, she was the Community Outreach Manager for the Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability, where she managed key community service programs, including the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) Medicare Counseling program. She also has experience in helping to establish a charitable health center in her local community.

Christin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional through the National Association of Rural Health Clinics and a certified leader for several nationally recognized evidence-based health promotion programs, including Mental Health First Aid and Powerful Tools for Caregivers.

Actively engaged in community activities, civic engagement, and healthcare advocacy, Christin volunteers with several community non-profit groups.
