Andrew Hawkins began his journey in the healthcare and insurance field in 2013 as a volunteer with Get Covered America. Driven by a passion for community service and health equity, he quickly advanced to become a Certified Application Counselor with the Community Development Center, where he served for 14 months. In this role, Andrew gained invaluable experience assisting individuals and families in navigating the complexities of the healthcare system, particularly in securing health insurance coverage. Andrew has been serving as Rural Health Association of Tennessee's Health Enrollment Director since July 2022. In this role as a non-profit, licensed insurance agent, Andrew oversees a team of Community Health Workers who support TennCare renewals and other health insurance and Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) assistance.
