Rural Health Association of Tennessee (RHA) has been awarded a grant from Tennessee Department of Health (Z-25-314278) intended to help grantees deliver integrated, high-quality, comprehensive prevention and healthcare services, and innovative care delivery models that are evidence-informed throughout rural areas in the state. These investments may include innovative projects that improve access to health and healthcare services for rural populations, and funding to support transition to alternative care models to address community need.
Scope of Work
As part of this historic opportunity, RHA is in process of closing on a building located at 159 Court Square, Huntingdon, TN. The following Request for Proposals is to seek a contractor/s for the following.
1. ADA Compliant Ramp (Back Entrance) 
RHA requests that an ADA compliant ramp be built leading to the back entrance/basement door.
2. ADA Compliant Bathroom (Upstairs)
RHA requests that the upstairs bathroom be converted to an ADA compliant room by combining the small room to the left of the current bathroom.
3. Cabinetry Removal (select rooms)
RHA requests that the cabinets in select rooms be removed and dry wall repaired as needed.
4. Flooring (Upstairs only)
RHA requests the carpeting be removed upstairs and replaced with wood and/or wood laminate. The quote should include 3 different flooring options if the material cost is expected to exceed $10,000.
5. Interior Paint (Upstairs only)
RHA requests new paint throughout the entire upstairs
6. Exterior Paint
RHA requests new paint on the front exterior of the building
7. Doors Added
RHA requests new doors be added to approximately 6 office spaces.
8. Exit Signs and Emergency Lighting
RHA requests the contractor install all recommended Life Safety features including Exit Signs with emergency lights (2), Smoke Detectors (2), Carbon Monoxide Detectors (2).
Submitting a Proposal
Interested Contractors should submit a proposal outlining their experience with similar projects, estimated materials cost, estimated labor costs, and estimated start and completion dates. We will be hosting a viewing for interested parties on October 29th.

All proposals should be submitted by Monday, November 3rd. The proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by November 7, 2025.
